Laser Hair Removal Journey
Needing laser hair removal is not only embarrassing, it's expensive. And I'll just say it--I'm a hairy woman.
I have felt self-conscious about being hairy ever since I was thirteen years old. I've tried electrolysis, hair removal creams, tons of razors, waxing, everything. And you know what? I'm nearly forty, and I'm still hairy. I think in some ways it's getting worse!
I want to turn my humiliation into a way to help you and me.
The cost of laser hair removal is expensive--especially if you are like me and need a lot of it. I am going to document every single moment of this journey including the saving of the money, the research, the cost, the pain and the results, and put it on this site so you have the truth about permanent hair loss.
Since I make my living (a modest living) in online publishing and laser hair removal surgery is so expensive, I decided I could afford to spend the money on the surgery if I started a website about it. So my goals are:1) Be less hairy.
2) Help other people by sharing my story.
3) Offset the cost of laser hair removal surgery with this site. I will tell you the absolute truth that others are afraid to tell you.
Not just in words, but in photos. If it hurts, I'll tell you. How much did I spend? I'll scan in my receipts. Was it worth it? I will tell you for real. I will give you reviews of the clinics I visit and the at home products I use.
I am not a doctor. So none of this is medical advice. I do not own a clinic. So I will NOT be tempted to make things seem simpler or cheaper just to get you to come to my clinic.
What I will tell you is my totally unbiased, true story. PLUS, I'll provide you with informative articles on all kinds of hair removal.
